We have had our raspberries attacked by little black beetles for the last 2 years and have not been able to find any advice on how to get rid of them. They are about 1/8 inch long. Some berries are justfull of them. Some bushes are not affected as much. Have you heard of this before? Know of any control measures? Would it hurt to spray them with Dormant Oil.

Hi there! I'm not sure the type of beetle, but since they are attacking consistently, my suggestion would be to move your raspberry bushes to another location before the weather is warm enough for the beetle eggs to hatch... make sure you give the canes a good rinse with insecticidal soap and check for eggs before replanting. Hopefully this will help! Good luck! :)
