Hi! I'm looking for suggestions for a vine or climber that will mostly be used for privacy. The key is that it needs to be planted in a large container (it's going to grow along a long latice fence on a patio) and stay year-round, so that it blocks out a back alley. The patio gets loads of sunshine in the summer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you thought of an Evergreen Clematis? Vigorous, quite hardy...also there are evergreen passiflora's.
