Last fall I dug up some dahalia tublers and stored them in my cold room, I am wondering when should I get them out and put them in pots in a sunny window??

I posted this on another forum. My question was should I plant as early as my cannas, Feb. The answer was no, they would get to leggy. It would be preferable to wait until Mar. I went out and checked my tubers and they have not sprouted yet like the cannas which are ready to plant up. I'm going to wait until the end of Mar. to do mine. Hope this helps. My original posting was on Gardening in Canada pr the Dahlia forum on gardenweb.com Hope this helps. Marg

I'd give them until at least mid March. Started mine a little to early last year and they got too leggy too soon.
