Greetings,

Well, yes I do know it is still awhile to wait for springtime.....especially here in the middle of BC - ok it was raining today, vs snow that we had all of November and early December.....but I am just wondering who is getting going on their virtual gardens for 2007 - placing seed orders or any must have plants for 2007. I am going to hunt down my Persicaria Polymorpha - which was a planting suggetion from this web site - and I would still love to find Adlumnia Fungosa - plants - 'cause I had no luck germinating the plants!!! GRRR. Anyways happy planning.

I for one, am sick of the winter season and am going into gardening withdrawal..LOL, have been scanning my catalogues and am awaiting one from the Lily Nook, they have beautiful lilies to choose from. One other Perscaria to look for is called Taurus, hardy, blooms from June till frost and beyond even and is a darker pink color.pest free, couldn't ask for more in a plant. Now if i can just get through January, which is always the worst. and longest winter month for me.. the light at the end of the tunnel should start shining through..

I'm with you all.

I just installed a landscape design software and am trying to manouver my way around my Japanese garden dreams. BIG dream as I live in Central Alberta but hey January is for dreams. Oh and so is Feb, March, April, sometimes May....

I have lots of work to go on hardy substitute plants of "similar appearance to" whatever won't grow here so bye for now.

Happy dreams and plans all - Pat
