Subject: Fallen eucalyptus due to snow - help?
From: Lori

Dear gardeners, I'm looking after my folks place while they're away, and we had an unusually large snowfall, which toppled two of their snow gum eucalyptus, each 20 - 30' tall. The shorter one popped up again when I knocked the snow off, but the taller one didn't. I was thinking about taking off about 2/3 of the foliage perhaps, and wrapping up the rootball to right the tree when the snow has gone. Is this a bad idea? Can anyone help me please with suggestions? Many thanks!
