Hi everyone I have recently moved to Chilliwack BC and am in the process of getting a veggie garden going. I am planning on carrots, peas, cucumbers and romaine lettuce. I have my spot picked and dug out but need to give it fresh soil and have no clue. Should I use some regular old top soil or would something else be more friendly to the seedlings and plants. Thanks for any help and suggestions you can send my way. Angela

Angela: one word: manure! Get some nice old manure in bags from a nursery or whatever. Dump it in with your existing soil. Mix all together. Works wonders.
