I have had a trumpet vine for 3 years now.. It has yet to bloom.. Not sure what I am doing wrong...

Any suggestion on how to get it to bloom

could be a few things. were is it planted? how much sun does it get? do you know what your soil pH is? are there any pests nearby? is it leggy? & do you fertilize? you sorta have to take all the little things into account, and than you can narrow it down. I have had this vine and it did well with the above in check. I also just bought another. You should apply a fertilizer like Ozmacote, triple 20. I also use manure tea to help combat sick plants.

HEY CLIFF! I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY TRUMPET VINE. IT TOOK 3 YRS. FOR MINE TO BLOOM TOO. THE BEST ADVICE I GOT WAS TO PRUNE IT IN THE SPRING TO THE SHAPE YOU WANT AND THEN LEAVE IT ALONE.MINE GET'S SUN ALL DAY. I DON'T WATER OR FERTILIZE IT MUCH. APPARENTLY IT LIKES TO BE IN A LITTLE BIT OF DISTRESS TO BLOOM. WORKED FOR ME!
