Subject: Blotches/streaks on maple leaves From: Ed

During the last two years only, irregular blotches have appeared late in the season on a stand of Red Maples ( Acer rubrum )followed by yellowing and defoliation. I suspect a polonged drought may have been a contributing factor. Any explanation as to cause and cure would be appreciated.
