Ok, plant savy people, I have a plant, no idea what it is but I will try to discribe it. It seems to be a 2-3 foot woody stem, a bit twisted, not straight up. The branches are dark red, and hairy. The leaves are a darker green, that grow one on either side of the branch, almond shaped, and spikey looking and coming to a pretty sharp point at the end. I realize this could be many plants, but I thought I would give it a try here, and take a leaf to my local garden center too. It is growing at the back of my house, and I have no idea if I should pull it out, or nurture it.
