Simon: concerning the Honey Locust question, you said that Cygon is about to be no longer available in Canada. My question: what systemic will be available, for leaf miners, iris borers and the like? I use systemics as little as humanly possible, but they serve a useful role for some bugs. What to do?

I don't know what the alternatives will be? When I bought my first ever bottle of Cygon this spring, the salesperson told me about the availablity issue. I've heard the same thing from several different sources since then. I'm not too worried though, I only use the stuff very sparingly. It should last me 10 years.

Right, Simon - same thing here. An almost full bottle should last me for years.

It's too bad - I guess that abuse on the part of some means that those of us who are very careful with it get "tarred with the same brush"!
