Hi Fellow Gardeners,

I don't mean to be so tacky but, I just want to let everyone know about our sale. I don't just do the sale to sell plants. I do it because I enjoy meeting the people I meet and I want to offer quality plant material. I go to several garden centres in my area and I'm just not happy with what they offer and their service.

This year our selection of plants is great. We have several new introductions for 2004.

If you are in the area of Shopper's World in Brampton, then you should stop by and have a look for yourself.

My only caution is come early(between 7 - 8 am) as the best plants go first. We will be holding the sale in the backyard. There will be signs out front.

First of all: you have not given the location of your sale. Second: this discussion area is for the use of private individuals, not businesses. Third: this discussion area is for people from all over Canada, not just Brampton. Fourth: if you are a member of a garden club and your sale is a club event, not a business event, there is a section of the "icangarden" website for garden club events where you can announce sales.

I am fairly new to this forum. I am not familiar with the different areas of the icangarden site. I really didn't mean to offend or intrude in any manner. I have seen similiar posts in this forum from others and other countries. I am a private individual and not a business. It is just that I have a passion for gardening that I like to share with others. When I acquire plant material and /or propagate it I sell off the extras to other gardeners.

I have no means of shipping across Canada. this is why I mentioned that If you were going to be in the area.

No I didn't mention the location of the sale. I did say that if you were interested incoming by, even if it is just to have a look or to chat, then e-mail me and I would provide you with directions.

I am a member of a local horticultural society but, this is not a club sale. It is a private sale.

Some gardeners are interested in plants that are exposed to local conditions rather than those that are shipped in from others zones or countries. This is what I have.

I'm sorry if I have given you and others the wrong impression.

As A gardening enthusiast, I am interested in knowing when and where other individuals are holding sales, within driving range. Who doesn't.

I have a lot of experience to share but maybe I have picked the wrong list.

Again, I apologize if I have offended you or anyone else.

patricia makes a good point about signing your club up for its own site, (its free) and also putting all upcoming events in the Events area -- that's free as well
