Hi Sandy. I have had a Tibouchina Tree for 3 years now and it is spectacular when in bloom. Here on the West Coast, after storage in the garage in a container over winter, I bring it out after the last frost (here in early May), water well and fertilize 3 times / week during the growing season. The blooms appear in late August (if you can put it out in a greenhouse in early spring, it will bloom in June / July timeframe). Before the first frost, prune all green growth and store in a garage for next year. A fantastic shrub!

I've seen so many pictures of this beautiful plant and was wondering where we could purchase the seed or plant? Is it available through seed catalogues?
