Hi Everyone!

My first time posting online!

I was just given some bulbs, and have never grown Gladiolas. Can you give me some advice on planting them? When to put them in, how deep, does the soil need amendment, will I need to stake/cage them later on?...and most importantly, are they perennial bulbs?
