Subject: Growing Bells of Ireland from Seed
From: Val

Hi Gardeners:

This is my first posting, and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out. I would like some hints/info on growing Bells of Ireland. I sowed some last year, in two spots in my garden, but nothing came up. After searching the icangarden achieves, I found a post from someone who had plants come up the year AFTER she sowed the seeds. Is this common? Also, has anyone in my zone or colder had the Bells self-seed?

I garden in southern New Brunswick, in what I thought was a cool zone 5, but after looking at Ag-Can's new map, I think I am in a warm zone 4.

(Thanks, Nancy for suggesting I post these questions directly to the forum instead of to the subject thread -- this site is a bit confusing until you figure it all out!)
