As per the book I planted Garlic recently and it has grown it's first leavesto about 5 inch above the ground already. Will they survive the winter or should I replant in the spring??

Advice please.

I'm amazed your garlic sprouted already. Was it this year's crop - where did you buy it ? It could survive but will probably have leaf damage. Mulch it heavily when the ground freezes. It's not too late to replant it.

Ann,I bought the garlic from the local supplier and was told it was this years seed crop. I guess I will replant leaving the sprouted plants to see what happens. thanks for your advice
