I bought some new day lily's at Canada Blooms. Can I pot them up now and leave inside in the light or when should I do it?

Good morning Shel. I bought some lily bulbs too! I always pot my new bulbs up after I buy them. That way I have them up when they go out in the garden. I just keep mine on the floor of the greenhouse. Just go ahead and pot them up and then put them near a window that gets a lot of light. Hope this helps. marg

Although I live in zone 8 not 5 I have always planted lilly bulbs (from daylillies to Asiatics) anywhere from march on and I also grow most of my bulbs in large barrels or large containers they overwinter just fine, and even multiply generously
