Does anyone know how to build a water element in a Japanese Garden? I am more interested in a waterfall using bamboo or other material. Thanks

Nancy. In the last year or so there was an article in Canadian Home Workshop magazine where they built one of those japanese bamboo water elements. The articel had complete plans to build one. If you check out their web site, they have a complete index of all articles that have appeared in the magazine. Failing that, I can search through my old copies if you are interested. greg

I just checked the CHW magazine index. They actually have and article and complete plans for a structure called a shishi odoshi. Here's the link: http://www.canadianhomeworkshop.com/weekender_shishi_odoshi.html Hope this is what you were looking for. Let us know how it turned out.
