Hello, everyone!

I would like to know if anyone has suggestions for "jump-starting" Snapdragons.

For a long time, the snapdragons were very small and showed no growth-they were about the size of pinheads, despite being outside from sunrise to sunset. They grew a little, and then I transplanted them for more growing room, where they've grown to about 11.25 cm /4.5". These sanapdragons are over two months old, and I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly. At this rate, they won't reach blooming size until August, and I doubt that they'll survive the heat. I have them potted in humus with a small amount of potting soil and they have plenty of growing space now.

Any help will be appreciated.

Happy gardening!

Alison, Is it possible you have planted the short version of snapdragons? They come in many different heights and I have had the short ones which only get four or five inches tall. They don't necessarily have to get taller to have blossoms on them. What zone are you in? Maybe it is too early for blossoms? Can you give more details?
