I need information about ranunculas - growing, care, etc. We have sucessfully grown some in our garden over the past few years, pulling up the bulbs or tubers in the fall and replanting in the spring. I have now purchased some in pots and I am wondering about time to plant and how much watering they may need. Right now I am putting them out during the day in a sunny location and bringing them in at night since it is still quite cool here. Any information would be appreciated.

Ranunculas need full sun to part shade and need a fertile well drained, slightly acidic soil PH 6.5- 7. They make good container plants, you should soak the tubers overnight and you should also start them indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost date Hopes this helps Claire !
