We have a number of large laurels and would like to prune and transplant. What is the best time to do this and can I just prune and place in water to root? I have heard that you can just place the clipping in the ground. Would like your opinion.
Also, with trees such as birch, pine, cedar, cypress and holly, can one prune or should one get a professional?
We have recently retired and are looking at our trees which have been left to grow on their own for many years.
Thank you for your opinion.
Best regards, Dorothy Smith
