http://www.agrecycle.com/about - Canada Blooms received a number of selections for the 2013 Feature Gardens. Thank you to all the landscape architects and designers who submitted applications. The committee has completed its selections and winning garden builders have been notified. This year's theme is "The Magic of Spring" and one winning selection was "Magicool" by Genoscape Inc. "In keeping with this year's theme at Canada Blooms, we are creating the Magicool Garden.
What is Magic about Spring? The weather gets warmer, it rains a lot, the trees start to leaf and the flowers start to bloom. That whole process in itself is pretty magical! Within our display, we intend to present all of the literal elements of spring, including different types of water features as well as a sunny area and rainy area. The rainy area will actually be ‘raining’ into one of our ponds and we will create a real Rainbow within the mist and the rain droplets. Our rainbow will not be projected but will be created using light and refraction, the same way a real rainbow appears." http://www.canadablooms.com/ - The International Garden Festival is pleased to announce the names of the designers selected by the jury for the 14th edition of the Festival.
