Canada Blooms and Landscape Ontario are pleased to announce the winners of the Best Booth Awards held at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto from March 16-20, 2011.

The best booth awards were designed to acknowledge creative booth design and trade show marketing excellence. The awards were presented in two categories: under 100’ sq ft. and over 100’ sq ft.

Top honours go to The Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry Inc. for best booth 100 sq ft. (booth 641). the Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry is dedicated to preserving sugar artistry through the sharing of information and techniques to inspire their members through learning opportunities.

“On behalf of the Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry Inc., we are truly grateful. We want to show that we can bring together Canada Blooms and sugar, and shape them into flowers. The pieces have to be anatomically and botanically correct,“ said Eduarda Lee Sousa-Lall, Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry Inc. “The best part of the show is avid gardeners stopping by to ask if the flowers are real. It’s a real compliment.”

Top honours also go to Urban Garden Supply Inc., a company committed to sustainable landscape practices, for best booth over 100 sq ft. (booth 728). Since 1998, Urban Garden Supply has provided new approaches to inner city landscaping. Their associates represent a wide range of skills including decorative design of flower beds, boxes and planters, landscape design and construction of gardens, irrigation and lighting for multi-residential, office and commercial properties.

“This is our first year at Canada Blooms and it’s been a great one,” said Natasha Egorenkova, Urban Garden Supply Inc. “The show is well organized. We specialize in rooftop terraces and want to show the sort of things can be done in small spaces.” About Canada Blooms
