9th Annual Stories in the Garden October 11, 2pm to 4pm

Each autumn, Hills and Dales Estate, in partnership with LSPA, hosts Stories in the Garden, a free storytelling event beneath the canopy of the pecan grove. This will mark the event’s 9th year and will feature regional storyteller Norton Dill, as well as local tellers. A family-friendly blend of stories, poems, and music will begin at 2:00pm and last until 4:00pm, with light refreshments provided. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for their socially-distanced comfort. In case of rain, the event will be postponed until Sunday, October 18 at 2pm. If you’re unable to attend in person, we invite you to attend virtually as we’ll be broadcasting the event live on our Facebook page! For more information, call 706-882-3242 or email
