Agincourt Garden Club

The Club was founded to provide a meeting place for those people in the Agincourt area who have an interest in, or who may have a curiosity to learn more about horticulture [gardening]; it was meant for novice, average and/or master gardeners, for the exchange of ideas as related to the growing of flowers, fruits and vegetables in their many varieties; to advise members of the many differing methods of cultivation [growing]; for sharing general information about new and old information; for the enjoyment that comes from achieving the production of a living thing; and to provide good fellowship while we are engaging in the world's largest and most popular hobby.

The club meets every second Monday of the month, 8:00 p.m. except for October, which is the first Monday, at Knox United Christian Education Centre, 2575 Midland Ave. just North of Sheppard Ave. East. The entrance and bus stop is off Rural Ave. opposite the school. The club does not meet during July and August.

The meeting format is: Learn, Laugh and Dessert. We have an expert garden speaker show a slide show to the members; some months we have a flower show so bring your cameras; laugh with the 150+ friendly, diverse members and enjoy light refreshments.

Where you could spend $50. to see one expert garden speaker, the membership for the whole year is $30. for an individual or a family of adults living at the same address. This gives you access to multiple garden experts/presentations, discounts at nurseries, plant sales, access to bus trips [extra cost], and new friendships.

During COVID the meetings will be held by Zoom.
