This is a very impressive book. A must have for all those involved in the recognition, biology and control of pests in ornamental crops.
It is illustrated with 1069 full colour photographs and includes common and latin names for all the plants and pests.
For each major order and family, it details the status, host range, world distribution, diagnostic features and biology plus it also includes photographs of larval stages to help in species determination. It includes the characteristics of damage done with details of controls offered.
I don't know that I would recommend it for home gardeners though, it is quite an intense read.
This is the kind of book students, greenhouses, botanic gardens should have on their shelves.
