The Random House Book of Indoor & Greenhouse Plants
Volumne 1 & 2 by Roger Phillips and Martyn Rix

Both of these books offer exquistic photographs of over 1,100 plants each and offer us the ability to grow them in greenhouses. They both include introductory chapters on garden and greenhouse cultivation and on the habits of species in the wild. With details on the history, characteristics and cultivation of each plant, these books are worth having as excellent reference material. I found a huge chapter (63 pages) on pelargoniums in Volume 1 and 45 pages on Lilies in Volume 2.

One of three books on indoor gardening recommended by Art Drysdale in his article dated December 18, 2000 on this site.
