Barnsley House
Mature 4 1/2 acre garden, designed by Rosemary Verey.
Bulbs, mixed borders, knot of herb garden, laburnum walk, decorative pottage garden. The
garden furniture is by Charles Verey. Fountain and statues by Simon Verity. Two 18th
century summer houses. The garden is packed with ideas for planting and design from which
any gardener can draw inspiration.
The home of Rosemary Verey
it was interesting to see how her garden compared with
that of Christopher Lloyds garden
and there really is no comparison. We all really
loved it, even if we did have rain! She had little areas filled with all kinds of plants
and I found myself getting caught up with the height too
for even the trees were full
of flower. Her garden is something to behold
a pottage garden full to the
brim
it was the neatest and most colourful I had ever seen
and can you see the
scarecrow!
The last picture is of Rosemary Verey, who was very kind to let me take this of her.
