Was our first tour day and a full day at WAFA 2014 so those not in before could spend some time at the show and just see how huge this really was. I think the pictures show you both from yesterday and today just how impressive a show this was. I also fell in love with the cover of a book called “I Am of Ireland” poems by W. B. Yeats. It was placed with one of the floral displays. The five judges in training told me this was a grand show and they learned so much from it….this evening at our Welcome Dinner we had a wonderful arrangement that was made during one of the seminars and was just one piece of a series that one of our gals had won. They went on to explain a bit about the show to us all and what judges look for and it was just an excellent intro to our tour….plus dinner was fantastic….all in the comfort of our hotel. We were so well located at the Doubletree by Hilton that it was just a 20 minute walk to the show and a beautiful walk through old homes and embassies.
