Pride of Place Plants Inc.® is pleased to announce an agreement with Mr. Friedrich Manfred Westphal and his World Famous Company, F.M. Westphal Clematiskulturen from Prisdorf, Germany to market and promote the New Clematis Cultivar Clematis 'Rosa Königskind' (pink child of a king.) It is
very similar in growth habit with all the qualities of the parent Clematis ' Königskind' (child of a King).

Rosa ' Königskind ' has pink tepals with the same outstanding anthers as the
parent. Ordinarily when the anthers in the center of a Clematis blossom
shed their pollen they start to fade into insignificance. In the cultivars
Königskind and Rosa Königskind they begin dark but turn even darker as they
grow to maturity, ringing the eye of the blossom like eyelashes, making it
very attractive.

Both cultivars maintain the following characteristics.

These newly selected Clematis are unique in their ability to flower from
early to late summer June to September.
Clematis 'Königskind' (child of a king) ClimadorT is a rich purple-blue
flowering hybrid, which forms new buds all through the flowering period, so it blooms again and again. Clematis 'Rosa Königskind' is a soft pink
flowering hybrid.
Another of their unique qualities is that they can be kept indoors all the
time they are flowering. The full mature height does not exceed 1.2m -
1.5m. or 4ft - 5 ft..
These cultivars would be an instant sale in Florist Shops and Garden
Centers. They do very well in a tub, but make sure it does not dry out.
They like fertile soil and a sunny spot. Prune back to (30cm) one foot in March.
