where is zone 7b? The Queen Charlotts?

Phyllis - If your roses are basically dormant you can move them any time. Being in zone 7b they are probably still blooming at this time so you should wait until they have finished, if that's possible. Gail:- the "lower mainland" near Vancouver in B. C. and Van. Island have various zones, inc. 7b, so you don't have to live on Haida Gwai. Wendy

When is the best time to transplant roses? I have 3 different varieties and I would like to have them come up in spring, as they are not doing to well in the area in which I have them planted now, and any suggestions would be of great help.
