Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for advice on applying coffee grounds to my garden. I've read that acid loving plants do well with coffee grounds, and that they help to deter grubs and cats I think. I have a grub problem... and a bit of a cat problem too, my neighbour's cats like to hang out in my garden and kill birds. I'll list my plants, I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me which of these will benefit from coffee grounds and which if any will be harmed by coffee grounds. Here's the list: Iris Day lilies (orange and yellow) Lavender Lupine Shasta Daisy Bee Balm Sweet Woodruff Aster Black Eyed Susan Periwinkle Bachelor's Button Strawberry Lettuce Bell Peppers Anise Roses Lemon Grass Parsley Basil Oregano Lobelia Sweet Allysum Wild rose Sweet Potato Pansies Butterfly Bush Lilac Snow on the Mountain Chrysanthemums Ferns Chamomile Kale Echinacea Daises Hosta Sedum Salvia Purple Sand Cherry Sugar Maple
I know I'm forgetting some of the plants I have.
Thank you very much for your help with this.
Have a wonderful summer! Cheers! Karen :)
