Meet Ole, Sven and Lena

New Northern Accents™ Roses from Bailey Nurseries

As hardy as their Norwegian namesakes, Northern Accents™ roses combine long-lasting color and easy care with a dash of humor. Ole, Sven and Lena Northern Accents roses are super hardy, disease resistant shrubs that add continuous color to the landscape. All three roses were developed by Kathy Zuzek at the University of Minnesota, so you know they’re tough. You betcha, they’ll be a favorite for any Zone-challenged gardener.

Lena, Northern Accents™ Rose, Rosa ‘BAllena’

Don’t let Lena’s pretty pink and white flowers fool you, this rose is hardy as heck, don’t ya know?! Masses of frilly blooms stand out against a backdrop of bright green, disease resistant foliage.

Ole, Northern Accents™ Rose, Rosa ‘BAlole’

Uff-Da, Ole is one hardworking rose! His flowers perform double duty in the landscape providing loads of pink and white blooms. This compact shrub is exceptionally disease resistant and easy to grow.

Sven, Northern Accents™ Rose, Rosa ‘BAlsven’

Sven is sure svell! He’s the sturdy guy you can always count on. A hardy, compact rose with a beautiful color range. The blooms cover a color spectrum from mauve, to violet, to a rich, dark pink. Foliage is a shiny, dark green.
