Our web site is www.icangarden.com/clubs/TumblerRidgegc By now you should have some herbs growing in your garden. Typical herbs are sage, tarragon, parsley, thyme, fennel, dill, rosemary, marjoram, chives, garlic and oregano. The following is a sauce you can make to serve with your freshly caught fish. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and cook 1 medium sliced onion and 1 chopped clove of garlic slowly until golden brown. Add 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 seeded and diced green or red pepper, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp. dried oregano and a little salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened. Serve over cooked fish. Hope you enjoy this recipe. Happy gardening. See you on the 5th. |
