Including Mosaaiculture & Reford Gardens
We
arrived back into Montreal at 9 a.m. and from there I met Raymond
from Communities in Bloom. I spent the whole day out visiting
private gardens in Rosemere, then had lunch, and headed to see
Raymond and Monique’s own beautiful garden before being driven to
the airport for my trip home. After the fountain picture, there
follows the day with pictures that I took while visiting these
gardens. The first garden is owned by Marcel Renaud and Rene
Poirier, the second is Marilyn who was my host taking me around to
visit, the third is from Lucie St-Hilaire and Norman Richard who
have a garden that is about three city lots wide – like a park! and
the fourth is Raymond and Monique. Rosemere is a wonderful example
of Communities in Bloom with their involvement, support from
volunteers and the business community and the variety of gardens –
be they in front of the library or on the corner or simply hanging
from a lampstand.
