The Museum is housed in the historic Church of St.
Mary-at-Lambeth, adjacent to Lambeth Palace. In the grounds are the tombs of the John
Tradescants and Captain Bligh of the Bounty.
The first picture is of our guide, Hilda Matthews, complaining of ruining my picture!!
Not! She was a wonderful guide and will again be my guide for next years tour.
The second picture is self explanatory and the last four are in the 17th century replica
Knot Garden, designed by the Marchioness of Salisbury, and filled with historic
plants....more of the group wandering about - Evelyn, Dorothy, Iris, Stanley, and Hilda
standing watch. There is also a wonderful display in side and a super tea!
