This morning we flew from Kuching to KL and visited the Putrajaya Botani Gardens…a simply gorgeous garden and it was better than my last visit. They have a brand new information center which was wonderful and now they have these walks up above the canopy so you can get a really good look at the gardens…beautiful.

and then went and had dim sum in the hotel at the Summer Palace Chinese Restaurant, scrumptious is the only way to describe this, and as I love dim sum, I was truly enjoying this wonderful lunch.

then it was time to rest and get ready for the Welcome Dinner for the Merdeka Parade. What an enjoyable evening we had. We thought we would be participating in the parade but because of the flu situation in the world at that time, they cut down the number of people attending so what did we do instead?
