We checked out in the afternoon after a wonderful sleep and breakfast and some free time and headed back to Kuching. On the way we made a stop at a pepper farm. It was wonderful to see pepper growing. I had seen pepper bushes before but not with the red pepper corns. The pictures of the little patches of what look like grass are in fact rice. Each of these little bunches gets separated into individual stalks of rice and planted. This is in fact the first stage of this little farms rice for eating.

We arrived at the Four Points Hotel Kuching and as you can see, a pretty posh hotel…we sure enjoyed our stay here!
