Denbies was a deviation from the
norm...it was a chance to visit the largest vineyard in England! I took a close up of one
of the vines, just ready to burst forth with this years harvest, a bit of the vast
vineyard, our coach parked in front with some of our group - Betsy, Shirley, William and
Barb, Harvey, Hope and John.
The last picture is one of the vats. These are only two of seven that were made from the
oak trees that were blown down in the 1987 hurricane. The wood was sent to Vienna, Austria
where they were made by a fellow who can neither read or write!
