These are a couple of pictures I took of Canterbury
Cathedral...this
Cathedral was just beautiful inside, filled with stained glass, crypts
and don't forget it was the site of Becket's martydom, so there was a place there showing
the spot and also a candle that always burns. There were many small rooms downstairs
filled with painted ceilings and beautiful stone carvings. This church was founded in 597
AD. The ceiling picture is from the Great Cloister begun in 1397.
