Grenada – The Spice of the Caribbean

November 8th after breakfast at the hotel we all leave for the boat docks to take the Osprey catamaran to the quaint island of Carriacou, which is also part of Grenada and the first island in the Grenadines chain of islands. They said the boat was high speed and it certainly was as you can tell by the look of me facing into the wind – but it was warm and felt wonderful. It was a 90 minute trip and before you knew it we were there, and just look at the colour of that water. We had a laid back kind of day, driving to the top of a hill for a wonderful view of the surrounding town of Hillsborough. As a matter of fact where we were on the top of that hill is where the hospital is…fresh air and a view to get them healthy and on their way.

On the way back I am showing you pictures of us coming back into St. Georges, then it was back to our hotel to freshen up for dinner.
