Press Day at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is truly an exceptional day to be there. With only 500 people it felt so spacious. This day the gardens were set up and ready to go but many of the sundry booths were finishing up.
This is also the day that the BBC has their television crew here so we had the opportunity to capture them in photos. I also met Diarmud Gavin and Charlie Dimmock during the day, chatted with them and told them about our group being here. they were thrilled to hear that and wished us a great day.
A lot of the designers of the gardens were here as well so you could chat with them, listen to music and just enjoy a totally different way of viewing this show. Note I did take a picture in black and white, it was not a mistake, I wanted to see how it would look. I can say too that I was very grateful that the shops were not open, or I would have come home with much more than I did.
