May 27, What did I miss seeing that I must do today?

Our last free day so those that had things to do like shopping for those special gifts, visiting or sightseeing made sure they were done today. We went over to the Victoria & Albert Museum to see the Arts & Crafts Exhibit as well as Queen Maude when we discovered that Chihuly was there as well! Right in the foyer above the ticket desk was this very big glasswork. I love the V & A. There is so much to see and everything is just so interesting. There are three very dark pictures of dresses, but you are not allowed to use your flash ...I think you can get the idea though.

Afterwards on our way to tea we visited Judith Blackstock because Wendy had to drop off a cd of pictures. Her shop is tucked into a little alley and not hard to miss because of all the containers of plants outside. We took Afternoon Tea at the Carlton Tower!...another grand hotel steeped in history ... a truly wonderful day. http://www.carltontower.com/
