I checked out the Lenna Hotel after having one of the best breakfasts at the Henry Jones, such lovely caring staff too! Then a full day touring gardens...

HOBART - WOOLMERS - BRICKENDON - HAWTHORN VILLA ESTATE

Start the morning with a visit to Crawleighwood Gardens, situated in the picturesque Huon Valley followed by Tasmania's largest landscaped Native Garden, Inverawe Native Gardens. Enjoy a stroll amongst colourful native plants and birds, taking in the stunning views before travelling towards the islands north coast. Meander through the beautiful Rose Garden at Woolmers Estate and visit nearby Brickendon Estate with its outstanding collection of flora ranging from some of the oldest trees in Australia to scented old - fashioned roses. Continue to Hawthorn Villas Estate in the small historic village of Carrick and your accommodation for the evening.

Hawthorn Villa Stables was my wonderful dwelling for the night.
