Flamingo, is a much improved cultivar ,as the leaf branches and
foliage are much stronger and leaf scorch not a problem as in Hakuro
Nishiki'
The foliage is spectacular deep pink/red in Spring and retains strong
color throughout the growing season. Flamingo produces a beautiful range
of contrasting colors for addition to your garden. Can be a lovely hedge
of single bush.
Pruning can be several times during summer to produce new shoots, making
the plant more bushy and the desired length. First prune in March-April
after the frost period is over. Mature height 60 cm, Zone 4
