The next day, we decided to go out to Playa Blanca, Coronado and Rio Mar on the Pacific, nice but we enjoyed the Atlantic/Caribbean more. The water on this side is colder, and the current is stronger, plus the sand has a lot of black sand in it…may not be a big deal to you but I can tell you that walking on it is something you do not want to do in bare feet. At least our Panama pooch can say she has been in both waters – and I think she preferred the other side as well. Then we took the car up to almost the top of a very tall hill, where the steps were very steep but the view was quite outstanding.
